The March Charge
For the month of March all of our businesses Crest Wealth, Crest Lending, Crest Insurance and us (Crest Accountants) came together to participate in The March Charge with Cancer Council – telling cancer where to go! We set ourselves a challenge of raising $5000, and to charge 1,000 KMs between us by walking, running and exercising to help raise vital funds for life-saving cancer research.
Sadly cancer still takes too many of us. 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85. Research sees more people than ever survive but we’ve still got a way to go. All the money raised will help our local Cancer Council support those affected right now and fund world-changing research to help more people survive.
Fantastic Result
As of today, the Crest team surpassed their fundraising target, raising $6,751 and charging 1,762kms.
A big thank you to the Crest Chargers: Kayleigh Willington, Peter Lettice, Wes Bothma, Phoenix Starr, Troy Chesterton, Alicia Gaylard, Ryan Tarrant, Dianna Doepel, Brian Allen, Michelle Mikkelson, Pippa Pang, Brett Shepheard, Rufina Cho, Stephan De Villiers, Rachel Bidgood, Nicole Amaya, Tracy Carroll, Justin Fahey, Breeanna Wilson, Dean Burkinshaw, Belinda Shoesmith, Angelina Caspani, Rob Hayward and Louise Pillidge who ran, walked and exercised their way to reach their KM goal and raise money for such an important cause. Such an amazing achievement!
