On Tuesday 8th of March, we celebrated International Women’s Day!
This year’s IWD INTERNATIONAL 2022 campaign theme was #BreakTheBias.
A challenged world is an alert world. Individually, we’re all responsible for our own thoughts and actions – all day, every day.
We can choose to challenge and call out gender bias and inequity. We can choose to seek out and celebrate women’s achievements. Collectively, we can all help create an inclusive world.
From challenge comes change, so let’s all Break the Bias!
Some of the Crest ladies attended the iconic Gold Coast International Women’s Day breakfast organised by Gold Coast Women in Business and Early Risers non-for-profit organisations. The event was hosted by the very talented Karen Phillips and was held in the beautiful Glasshouse event space at The Island in Surfers Paradise.
The event had an incredible line-up of four Gold Coast women changing the world including:
- The world’s youngest TED Speaker, global sensation, and devoted wildlife activist – grade three student Molly Wright.
- Courtney Hancock – World Champion iron woman and Surf Life Saver inspiration!
- Gold Coast Woman in Business of the Year 2021 & global childhood obesity research advocate Weightloss Solutions Australia CEO, Felicity Cohen.
- Destination Gold Coast CEO Patricia O’Callaghan, promoting the Gold Coast to the world in the most disruptive time in history.
